SCSEP Data Validation Handbook

The Data Validation Handbook contains an overview of the data validation process, describes the procedures for data validation, and provides detailed instructions for the validation of each element. DV sets forth the minimum standards for validation. In addition, grantees can set their own, higher standards, in order to simplify the choices for case workers and/or improve the quality of the data or service to participants.

Data Validation Report PY 2017

The DV report’s format is the same that we have used for the last several years.  We encourage each of you to compare your results to the nationwide results for each data element and to identify any need for technical assistance, additional training and/or possible additional oversight of your staff who are collecting or entering data into SPARQ. The national office will also use the report to identify the need for nationwide or regional technical assistance on data elements that have had the highest rates of failure over the last few years.
