"My self-worth, my own personal feeling that I actually matter and that I am doing something important, means all the difference in the world." (SCSEP Participant Mary Anne Knutson)

The Idaho Commission on Aging published an article and video on the Idaho News website last Thursday September 27, to celebrate NEOWW. The article shares information about the SCSEP program in Idaho and how it is helping older people earn extra income during retirement. SCSEP participant Mary Anne Knutson was placed at the Area 3 Senior Services Agency and hopes to become a permanent hire when a position opens at the agency. Ms. Knutson shares that the SCSEP program is an opportunity that provides more than just an income—"My self-worth, my own personal feeling that I actually matter and that I am doing something important, means all the difference in the world."
